Privacy and visitor analytics

Your choice

CareerAtlas uses optional Google Analytics to understand visitor numbers, page views, approximate countries and clicks on original application links. Analytics starts only after you choose “Allow analytics”. You can decline and continue using all job-search features.

What is measured

If you agree, Google receives browser/device information, page visits, referral origin and link activity. Google uses your connection information to estimate geography. Analytics cookies distinguish browsers and visits; counts are estimates, not a list of named people. Application clicks include the public vacancy identifier and employer website domain. A click does not prove that an application was submitted.

We do not intentionally send your search text, saved-job list, name, email, CV or eligibility information to Analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Search and form-interaction measurement are disabled.

Local storage and other websites

Your saved jobs, analytics preference and last-visit timestamp stay in this browser. A session timestamp lets the site identify jobs first collected since your previous browser session. These preferences are not synchronized between devices and can be removed by clearing site data. The site also requests public job data from GitHub. Hosting and data providers receive normal connection information when serving those requests. Employer websites have their own privacy policies; applying happens there.

CV Builder, photos and downloads

The CV Builder processes the text you enter in your browser. Profile Photo processes your selected image locally in the browser tab. These tools do not upload CV contents or selected photos to CareerAtlas, and their pages do not load our optional analytics script. Download files before closing the page; keep downloaded CVs and photos private, especially on a shared device.

Contacting CareerAtlas

If you email our business address, your email provider and ours process the message and sender details. Send only information necessary for your request. Do not email CVs, identity documents, passwords or payment information. See Contact & corrections.

Advertising

Google AdSense is not currently enabled. Any future advertising setup will require updated disclosures and applicable consent controls before activation. Optional analytics consent is separate from advertising consent.
